Eight a.m. is the alarm of the unhurried morning. It is the natural waking time when work starts at 9 or 10, when school drop-off is at 8:30, when remote work removes the commute. This page pre-fills 08:00 and computes the next time the clock crosses it. Unlike a phone's built-in alarm clock, a browser alarm follows you across machines: set it on the laptop, receive it on the phone via Telegram, or on a subscribed browser via push. The label becomes the notification text — "yoga", "breakfast with kids", "daily standup prep". A short tab tone plays if the page is in the foreground. If 8 a.m. is too late on Tuesdays only, use the reminder section's weekday picker instead — it lets you set 8 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays without recreating the alarm each day. The hub-and-spoke pages here are designed for specific one-shot times; the recurring engine lives next door.

FAQ

Will the alarm fire on weekends too?
Yes — the one-shot alarm fires next time it's 08:00. Press Set on Saturday at 7 a.m. and it fires Saturday at 8 a.m.
How do I get an alarm with sound on my phone?
Use Telegram delivery to your phone, or subscribe to browser push from your phone. Phone notification sounds are configured in the OS, not by the widget.
Can I set 8 a.m. for tomorrow specifically?
If you set 08:00 before 8 a.m. today it fires today. To force tomorrow, wait until after 8 a.m. — or use the dedicated "tomorrow morning" page.
Does the alarm survive browser restarts?
The schedule is server-side, so closing or quitting the browser doesn't cancel anything. The visible countdown only updates while the tab is open.
