FAQ
- Does this work in Safari?
- Yes. Telegram delivery works in any browser. Browser push works in Safari 16.4+ on macOS and as a Home Screen PWA on iOS 16.4+.
- Does it work offline?
- Setting the alarm requires a network connection so the server can schedule it. Once scheduled, delivery is independent of the browser being online — push and Telegram come from our backend.
- How is this different from the OS alarm clock?
- Cross-device: set on the laptop, receive on the phone via Telegram or push. Multi-channel: redundant delivery means you don't oversleep when one channel fails. No install, no permissions besides notifications.
- Is the source code open?
- The remindmenow project's source is private. The features listed here describe runtime behaviour, not internals. If you need an open-source alarm tool, the project is not the right fit.
