Pick a notification channel — Telegram for chat-style pings, browser push for system-tray alerts, email for the catch-all — and the reminder arrives the moment the hour ends. Label the timer ("parking expires", "roast pull", "focus block") and the notification carries that label, which is the only context you usually need. If an hour is more time than you need, drop to 30 or 25 minutes. If it is the perfect block but you want it every day at 09:00, save the 1 hour timer as a recurring reminder and it runs without you having to come back here.
