FAQ
- What is the difference between HIIT, EMOM, and AMRAP?
- HIIT alternates fixed work and rest periods (e.g. 30s/30s). EMOM packs work into each minute and rests for the remainder. AMRAP is a fixed window in which you complete as many rounds as possible. All three benefit from a session-level timer.
- Will the interval timer notify me if I lock my phone?
- Yes. The countdown is scheduled server-side; the end notification arrives on Telegram, push, or email regardless of screen state.
- Can I use this for Tabata?
- For strict Tabata (8 rounds of 20s work / 10s rest = 4 minutes), use the Tabata page. This page is for the overall session length when you are running multiple Tabata or HIIT blocks back to back.
- Can I save my interval session as recurring?
- Yes. After one run, save it as a daily or weekday reminder so the interval block is queued automatically.
